DETAILS: Trafic will be available in 72 guises

Renault’s all-new Trafic is now on sale priced from £18,245, with a total of 72 variants available.

The LCV, which will reach customers in September, will be available in up to three trim levels – depending on the model – and a choice of four diesel engines.

It is available in panel and crew vans, platform cab and passenger versions, in Business, Business+ and Sport trim levels.

Engines available are more than 5% more fuel economical than the outgoing versions, with all options 1.6litre and Euro V-compliant.

The dCi 90 is reserved solely for the entry-level Business, with the dCi 115, plus ENERGY dCi 120 and 140, available on every model.

Stop & Start is standard on the ENERGY dCi 120 and dCi 140 powerplants.

Standard equipment on Business models include height-adjustable driver’s seat with armrest, left side loading door, reach and rake-adjustable steering wheel, electric front windows, electric heated door mirrors, full steel bulkhead, spare wheel, remote central locking, ESC with HSA, Grip Xtend, DAB radio and USB connectivity.

Business+ variants add a fold-down centre passenger seat with removable A4 clipboard, laptop storage, smartphone dock, air conditioning, full steel bulkhead with load-through facility, parking sensors and Wide View Mirror.

Sport models include 17inch alloy wheels, automatic lights and wipers, Bluetooth, leather steering wheel, lidded upper dashboard storage, seven-inch touchscreen MediaNav multimedia and navigation system, cruise control, speed limiter and front fog lights.

Numerous high-tech options, including the likes of a reversing camera, are also available as paid-for packages.

The Trafic can be specified in one of ten body colours, including six metallic.
