Pall-Ex Group is strengthening its European distribution network with the appointment of Belgian logistics business De Vreese as its new principal partner for the Benelux region.

Based in Oudenaarde, De Vreese will take ownership of the Pall-Ex Benelux licence. The company will oversee cross-border freight distribution across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The appointment marks another step in Pall-Ex Europe’s expansion strategy. It aims to improve connectivity and strengthen its distribution network across key European freight markets.

De Vreese brings more than 45 years of experience in transport and third-party logistics. This regional knowledge will support the development of Pall-Ex’s Benelux operations and help meet growing customer demand for reliable international freight services.

Giovanni Pallastrelli, Managing Director at Pall-Ex Europe, said: “As supply chains become increasingly complex, the strength and resilience of our European network has never been more important. Our strategy is centred on working with trusted regional partners who understand their markets, deliver operational excellence and share our long-term vision for sustainable growth.

“Benelux is a key gateway for European freight movements, and working with an experienced partner like De Vreese will help us strengthen connectivity across the region. The team’s more than 45 years of regional expertise will be invaluable as we continue to develop our European operations and support customers moving freight across borders.”

Pepijn De Vreese, Director of De Vreese Logistics, added: “We are proud to take on the role of licence holder for Pall-Ex Benelux. Having operated within the industry for over four decades, we understand Pall-Ex’s values, ambitions and the importance of close collaboration between partners across the continent.

“We look forward to strengthening the Benelux operation and helping customers benefit from an even more connected European network.”

Pall-Ex continues European expansion

The De Vreese appointment follows several strategic developments across Pall-Ex Group’s European operations.

These include the acquisition of Pall-Ex Iberia by Emons Logistics Group. The group has also launched a new state-of-the-art distribution hub for Pall-Ex France.

Together, these developments underline Pall-Ex’s commitment to expanding its international freight network. By working with established regional logistics partners, the group aims to improve cross-border distribution and provide customers with stronger connections across Europe.

The Benelux region plays an important role in European road freight. Its location provides access to major transport routes and international trade gateways, making it a strategically important market for logistics operators.

De Vreese’s appointment will give Pall-Ex a dedicated regional partner with extensive industry experience. The partnership will focus on developing the Benelux operation and supporting the movement of goods between the three countries and the wider European network.
