DEBUT: Renault Master on show

Renault have premiered the new Master van at the Commercial Vehicle Show.

The new LCV, which will be available from this summer with new 2.3litre dCi Twin Turbo engines which deliver a fuel consumption cut of up to 7.3mpg, will boast technologies including the latest-generation ESC, Grip Xtend, Hill Start Assist, Trailer Swing Assist and Wide View mirror.

Renault’s most fuel friendly option will be the L2H2 165hp version, with standard consumption at 40.9mpg and CO2 emissions at 180g/km.

A whopping 120 versions are available, with customers able to choose from four lengths and three heights, panel van, crew cab, platform cab, chassis cab, tipper, dropside and box van variants.

Carrying capacity across the range is between eight and 22 cubic metres.

A new L4 rear-wheel-drive panel van version with single rear wheels has also been confirmed as joining the range, with Renault claiming it will be appreciated most be long-distance users and courier companies.

Order books for the new Master will open in June.
