CARE: Specsavers launch booklet
Specsavers have launched a driving eyecare-highlighting booklet for employers to give to their staff.
The booklet, available either electronically or in printed format, covers areas including the health benefits of eyetests and the specific benefits offered to staff.
It follows the recent launch of a range of posters and a sight app.
Jim Lythgow, Director of Strategic Alliances at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, said: “The benefits of eyecare are wide and far-reaching and we wanted to find a way to let staff know about them.
“Some staff may know they’re offered an eyetest from their employer, but they may not know the details, such as that the eyetest itself can detect a huge range of health conditions, or how easy it is to redeem their eyecare benefits – which have recently been made available electronically.
“In our experience, the more ways we help employers to get the message across, the better.”
