MOVE: SHB bag two new locations

Fleet management company SHB are expanding their geographical footprint in the south after acquiring two new depots in Heathrow and Gloucester.

The current SHB Southall depot will close and be relocated to the three-acre Heathrow site to support their buggy, LCV and HGV rental fleet.

Meanwhile, the new 2.1acre site at Gloucester will be dedicated to vehicle preparation and sales.

Mike Street, Managing Director of SHB, said: “We have previously supported our London customers through our Southall site but relocation to this larger facility will enable us to provide a more efficient service utilising the larger workshops and bigger footprint to enable us to offer locally a wider range of vehicles and buggies so enhancing our response and lead times to customers.”

Teams will begin relocation from the Southall site to Heathrow in November in readiness for a fully-functional site by December.

The Gloucester site begins operation on November 1.
