EXTENDED: RAA sign new Manheim deal

Manheim will remarket more than 25,000 vehicles annually under a new deal with the Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA).

The RAA – which comprises of 22 independent dealer groups – will oversee more than 18 bespoke Manheim sales held each week around the country.

Part-exchange vehicles from the RAA’s 200 individual dealerships will be offered at centres in Manchester, Mansfield, Birmingham, Bristol, Colchester, Saltash and Wimbledon.

Light vans and trucks will also be offered, with the RAA expecting to remarket around 1,500 vehicles in special sale sections at Colchester, Gloucester, Haydock, Leeds and Mansfield.

In addition, a new initiative of ‘ready-to-retail’ sales, including over-age stock and higher value part-exchanges, will be offered through Manheim Online.

Simulcast, Manheim’s live online link into physical auction, will also ensure these vehicles are made available to a broader buyer base.

Oliver Greening, Business Development Director at the RAA, said: “The RAA members have worked closely with the Manheim auction centres since 2006 and are delighted to continue this partnership.

“Manheim is a market-leading brand and an excellent fit with the RAA.”

Michael Buxton, Chief Operating Officer at Manheim, added: “The extension of our successful relationship with the RAA is great news and continues to highlight our world-class customer service.

“The sales are always well attended and the vehicles much sought-after, leading to lively bidding from buyers both in the auction hall and online.”
