ADVICE: Seminars are very popular

Fleet decision-makers are being incentivised to attend Jaama’s popular one-day Fleet Management Essentials seminars in the autumn, with £50 discounts and two-for-one vouchers.

The October seminars, hosted by the fleet management software and occupational road safety specialists, focus on best practice and legislative impact in several key areas.

Key areas include grey fleet management, car salary sacrifice schemes, employee driving licence checking and carbon footprint cutting strategies.

The seminar costs £295, plus VAT, per delegate including all course documentation, policies – usually priced at £120 – lunch and refreshments.

However, each fleet decision-maker registering their interest by the end of August will receive one of two deals.

They can receive a £50 discount voucher or a ‘buy one get one free’ voucher, if two or more employees wish to attend at the same venue.

The programme has proven extremely popular over the years, with attendance from a wide cross-section of full-time professional fleet decision-makers.

Ellie Whiten, Marketing Manager of Jaama, said: “Our entire seminar programme has proved very popular in the more than nine years it has been running.

“The seminars are particularly attractive to administrators and managers who have the responsibility but not necessarily the experience or specialist knowledge of running a fleet of vehicles as well as fleet professionals who require an update on new legislation and a refresher on best practice and new developments in managing a fleet of vehicles.

“The whole area of fleet management can be daunting, especially in the current climate of stringent cost control, environmental impact reduction and ensuring comprehensive duty of care for employees.

“In addition, we recognise and appreciate that operators of smaller or employee-owned fleets do not always have the luxury of a full time dedicated fleet manager and often the responsibility for the fleet can be across departments meaning that the impact of new legislation and refinements to best practice can be missed.”

Almost 1,000 people have so far attended Jaama’s fleet seminars.

All delegates attending this year’s spring seminars rated all aspects of the course as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’

Topics include the driver and the vehicle, fleet management, duty of care and green fleets.

Jaama are a fleet software and occupational road safety specialist.

Ahead of finalisation of the dates and venues for the October programme, please register seminar interest by contacting Collette Dooley on 0844 8484 333.
