Trek Group appointed UK distributor for Ilesbus luxury coaches
Trek Group has been appointed the sole authorised UK distributor for Ilesbus, bringing the manufacturer’s range of luxury buses and coaches to operators across the UK.
The new partnership will operate under a dedicated brand, Ilesbus by Trek, which will be managed by the Automotivate Fleet Solutions sales team.
Ilesbus by Trek will handle all UK sales and customer enquiries, with operators also gaining access to a nationwide aftersales network backed by the resources, expertise and established infrastructure of Trek Group.
The appointment strengthens Trek Group’s position in the UK commercial vehicle and specialist transport market, adding Ilesbus’ luxury bus and coach range to its existing portfolio of manufactured and distributed products.
Trek Group is recognised in the UK as a manufacturer and vehicle conversion specialist, with brands including Cartwright Vehicle Conversions, Equi-Trek, Safeguard SVP and Automotivate among its portfolio.
Dominic Ilbury, Managing Director of Automotivate Fleet Solutions Limited, said the partnership would give UK operators access to a premium product while placing a strong emphasis on customer support.

The establishment of Ilesbus by Trek is intended to provide UK operators with a dedicated point of contact for both vehicle sales and ongoing customer support.
The nationwide aftersales network is being positioned as a key part of the partnership, with Trek Group providing the resources and technical expertise required to support Ilesbus vehicles throughout their operational lives.
For operators considering premium buses and coaches, access to dependable aftersales provision is an important part of the purchasing decision, particularly where vehicles are used for intensive passenger transport, executive travel, tourism or other specialist applications.

The new distribution operation brings together Ilesbus’ vehicle range with Trek Group’s existing UK manufacturing, conversion and customer-support capabilities.
Ilesbus range available to UK operators
Ilesbus by Trek will make the full Ilesbus product range available to UK operators with immediate effect.
The launch gives operators access to the manufacturer’s luxury buses and coaches through a dedicated UK sales operation, supported by nationwide aftersales provision.
The move also provides Ilesbus with an established UK commercial vehicle partner with experience spanning vehicle manufacturing, conversions, specialist transport and fleet solutions.
For Trek Group, the appointment expands its portfolio into the luxury bus and coach sector while allowing the Group to use the infrastructure and expertise developed across its existing businesses.
The company’s Automotivate Fleet Solutions operation will lead the sales activity for Ilesbus by Trek, providing a dedicated route for UK operators to enquire about the vehicles and associated support.
The focus on aftersales is likely to be particularly important as the new distributor establishes the Ilesbus brand in the UK. While vehicle specification and luxury features are central to the premium coach market, operator uptime and access to technical support can have a significant impact on whole-life operating costs.
Ilesbus by Trek will therefore combine the manufacturer’s product range with Trek Group’s UK-based resources, giving operators a single point of access to sales and support.
The partnership takes effect immediately, with UK operators now able to access the full Ilesbus range through Ilesbus by Trek.
