CONFIRMED: Jaama seminars now revealed

Jaama’s popular Fleet Management Essentials seminars will take place over four days in October, at venues across the country.

Events in Swindon, Tamworth, Runcorn and Leeds/Bradford are pencilled in, with Jaama offering a special early booking incentive for anyone reserving a place before September 13.

Early bookers for the one-day seminar – designed to help decision-makers keep abreast of industry developments – will receive a £50 discount on the usual delegate price.

Furthermore, until the same date, employees sending two delegates to one of the seminars can take advantage of a ‘buy one place, get one free’ offer.

Significantly updated with more information on a host of topical areas, the seminars reflect best practice and the impact of changing legislation in a number of key areas.

The October seminars will focus on numerous fleet management issues including fuel management, Driver CPC, BIK tax changes and the forthcoming Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Directors’ Reports) Regulations 2013.

Topics such as ensuring optimum fleet efficiency, grey fleet management, car salary sacrifice schemes and employee driving licence checking will also be covered.

Ellie Whiten, Marketing Manager at Jaama, said: “Our seminar programme has proved very popular over the years and undoubtedly helps fleet decision-makers run an effective, efficient and legal fleet of vehicles and drivers.

“The seminars are particularly attractive to administrators and, managers who have the responsibility but not necessarily the experience or specialist knowledge of running a fleet of vehicles as well as fleet professionals who require an update on new legislation and a refresher on best practice and new developments in managing a fleet of vehicles.”

Fleet Managements Essentials seminars will be held at Swindon (October 8), Tamworth (October 9), Runcorn (October 10) and Leeds/Bradford (October 17).

Seminars begin with registration at 9.30am and conclude with an open question and answer session from 4pm.

Attendance costs £295, plus VAT, per delegate, including all course documentation, policies (usually priced at £120), lunch and refreshments.

Extra seminars may be added to those already announced and further events will be held in 2014.

To book, call Collette Dooley or Jon Davis on 0844 8484333.
