CUT: Johnsons slash driver risk and consumption
West Midlands bus and coach operator Johnsons are boasting tens of thousands of pounds worth of savings after deploying GreenRoad across their 50-strong fleet.
The driver performance management leaders have helped Johnsons make big fuel savings, while also cutting the risk of road incidents.
Since using GreenRoad, the bus fleet has travelled 50,000 more miles than in the same period in 2012, yet used 11,000litres less fuel.
Johnsons have also seen their team of nearly 80 drivers reduce the number of risky manoeuvres by 78%.
At the end of 2012, before the drivers were given in-cab feedback, Johnsons had 25 higher-risk drivers and now they have none.

The driver performance feedback from GreenRoad is complemented by an incentive scheme recognising improved driving, consistent driving, no incidents and the number of times a driver logs in to check their profile.
Drivers are then awarded on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
