LAUNCH: Fleet21 begin safety survey
Fleet21 are urging decision-makers to take part in their 2014 ‘Trends and Attitudes in Business Driver Safety’ survey.
The survey, in conjunction with Volvo and Specsavers, aims to build an accurate picture of current trends, with 1,000 employers contributing in 2013.
It helps driver risk managers understand how their peers address hot issues and gauges where employers feel the focus will turn over the coming year.
A white paper on the findings will be published, with all contributors receiving a free copy prior to official publications.
Participants will also be entitled to a free employer road risk assessment, worth £195.
Last year’s survey revealed four in ten employers did not have driver policies in place and only half had completed the legally-required organisation risk assessment.
Only one in three provided any kind of driver education to try and reduce crashes, while the vast majority did not know their obligations towards the grey fleet.
