Following three successful years of roadside assistance services Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK Ltd (FCA UK) has renewed its contract with Allianz Global Assistance for a further two years with an option to extend. The contract covers the provision of roadside assistance services for new Fiat Group cars (Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep) and for vehicles serviced by participating Fiat dealerships under the Service Activated Roadside Assistance (SARA) programme, which offers free roadside assistance to customers having their vehicle serviced.
Steve Harding MOPAR Technical Services Director of FCA UK commented, “It is always our fundamental priority to provide customers with the best service, whether directly from ourselves or via our carefully selected partners. For our roadside assistance offering, we need a provider who is able to offer consistently high levels of service across multiple markets. In order to achieve this, our chosen partner must have specific and high quality technical capabilities together with excellent support functions.
“Allianz Global Assistance has continued to develop its roadside assistance services since their inception as our partner in 2013. We are pleased to be able to continue our relationship and look forward to continually developing the service provision.”
Mark Ennis, FCA Account Manager at Allianz Global Assistance UK added, “This is a very positive contract renewal for us, demonstrating the strength of the relationship we have built with FCA UK in the past three years and the continued focus on developing the service to meet current and future requirements. With a number of new models coming to market, this is an exciting time to be involved with these ambitious and flourishing brands.”
