Allianz Partners, the B2B2C leader in insurance and assistance solutions, and Waze, the real time crowdsourced navigation app are today announcing an international partnership to launch an updated roadside assistance offering to over 22 million Wazers across Europe. Drivers will be able to access an on-demand roadside assistance service powered by Allianz Partners in real-time, by one simple click on the Roadside Help (‘SOS’) button in the Waze app, and get support from either a digital platform or call center. Wazers will be assisted anywhere, 24/7, in the event of a breakdown, flat tyre or flat battery, without having to hold an insurance or roadside assistance policy.
“This pan-European partnership with Waze is a major step forward for Allianz Partners as the ‘high tech – high touch’ rescue services leader. We are providing on-demand immediate assistance solutions, making the Wazers even more safe and secure, anytime and anywhere. We are proud to be joining forces with Waze, the best-in-class community based traffic and navigation app”, said Sylvie Ouziel, CEO Assistance at Allianz Partners Group. “Our ambition is to deliver the best value-adding mobility services to our partners’ customers, providing a seamless user experience by embedding our solutions into the Waze app on a daily basis.”
“Waze is a community-driven app that does more than help everyone beat traffic — it also leverages the power of crowdsourced data to support drivers in times of need and distress,” said Thomas Guignard, Head of Waze EMEA. “It is our goal to get everyone to their destination safely, and we’ve made our existing Roadside Help offerings even more comprehensive across Europe by offering all Wazers professional roadside assistance through our exclusive relationship with Allianz Partners.”
This partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to deliver reliable and value adding solutions to drivers in need, ensuring drivers’ safety wherever they are.
Allianz Partners and Waze’s partnership will be launching in the UK today, 3rd July. In the coming days the partnership will also launch in France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Russia, the Netherlands and Belgium, followed by Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Ireland and Germany later this year.
