UNLEASHED: New BMW M5 30 Jahre Edition

BMW are celebrating 30years of the M5 with the new special-edition 30 Jahre Edition.

The most powerful production BMW ever offered in the UK, the high-performance business saloon is based on the current fifth-generation model.

It will be produced in a limited run of just 300 vehicles worldwide, with 30 of these hitting the UK and costing £91,890.

The M5 30 Jahre Edition – paired with a 4.4litre V8 engine – will develop 600hp, sprinting 0-62mph in 3.9seconds, and offering fuel economy of 28.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 231g/km.

Kitted in Frozen Dark Silver metallic paint, black chrome finishes the kidney grille surround, gills with ‘30 Jahre M5’ badge on the front wing, door handle inserts and twin exhaust tailpipes.

Inside, the driver and front passenger are greeted by ‘30 Jahre M5’ lettering on the front door sill finishers, while a plaque bearing ‘30 Jahre M5’ and ‘1/300’ inscription is integrated into the Dark Aluminium Trace interior trim.

The ‘30 Jahre M5’ logo is also embroidered into the backrests of all four M Sport seats.

Standard kit includes a harman/kardon surround-sound system, Adaptive LED Headlights, Comfort Access with smart opener, Driving Assistant, lumbar support and split folding rear seats.
