Teletrac Navman secures full-fleet safety contract with Spark Medical
Teletrac Navman, a connected mobility platform for industries that manage vehicle and equipment assets, has won a contract to provide market-leading fleet safety and tracking services to independent ambulance provider Spark UK Medical and Mersey Medical Services Limited. The deal covers more than 140 vehicles and supports the operator’s push towards smarter, safer operations.
Who are Spark UK Medical and Mersey Medical?
Spark UK Medical and Mersey Medical run a private ambulance operation. They provide front-line ambulances, emergency and non-emergency transport, and event medical solutions nationwide. They also offer global repatriation services.
A full fleet rollout of next-generation telematics
The investment marks a significant move towards smarter operations. Teletrac Navman will fit the full fleet of more than 140 vehicles with its next-generation telematics interface, TN360, along with Smart Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cameras and Driver ID solutions. The rollout forms part of a continued drive to minimise risk and improve driver standards.

TN360 brings connected vehicle data, analytics, reporting and safety features into a single interface. Fleet operators get a real-time view of their operations through one pane of glass. For Spark UK Medical and Mersey Medical, the platform offers operational insights that support fleet management. It simplifies data analysis and helps inform day-to-day decisions.
Smart AI cameras deliver real-time driver coaching
The Smart AI cameras give drivers in-cab feedback in real time. They also work as personalised coaching tools that reinforce fleet safety and compliance, both vital to the business. The AI model analyses footage as it happens and sends drivers notes on positive habits and areas to improve. This helps everyone drive at their best. It also encourages a self-managed model of coaching, so fleet managers do not need to step in.
The cameras work in tandem with TN360, which collects wider data on driver behaviour, including harsh braking, speeding and distracted driving. The platform shares reports with managers and feeds into drivers’ overall scorecards.
Fleet Safety remains the number one priority
Dave Large, Director of Governance & Contracts of Spark UK Medical & Mersey Medical, said: “Safety has always been our number one priority – we often transport vulnerable people in high-pressure situations. Working in a highly regulated field, dash cameras are not new to us – but this is a major upgrade to our fleet and operations. Teletrac Navman’s TN360 dashboard and the insight the AI cameras provide will help launch our operations forward, simplifying driver coaching without compromising on the results, and support drivers in the right way where there may be room for improvement.”
The contract shows how connected technology can help fleets that work in high-pressure environments. Operators can cut risk and raise driver standards while keeping managers’ workloads under control.
