Mitsubishi launches commercial version of all-new L200 Series 7 pickup
Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has unveiled the commercial variant of its all-new L200 Series 7 pickup, designed to withstand demanding industrial and rural settings while retaining a refined cabin and high specification levels. The new L200 Series 7 Commercial also brings a range of tax benefits for business users, including reclaimable VAT, a 100% first-year capital allowance, a fixed annual road tax of £360, and a Benefit in Kind (BiK) flat rate of £4,170 based on 2026/27 figures.
Boasting a payload of more than one tonne and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg, the L200 Series 7 Commercial has been engineered to maximise load-carrying ability and operational efficiency without sacrificing practicality or comfort. A perforated steel bulkhead sits behind the cockpit, while the rear seats and seatbelts have been removed to make way for a durable phenolic floor featuring four integrated D-ring load restraints. The rear passenger doors come fitted with privacy glass as standard.
Power comes from a 2.4-litre bi-turbo engine delivering 204 PS and 470 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission as standard across the range. The new L200 is offered in both Titan and premium Barbarian trim levels, with rear-wheel drive as standard and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive available, incorporating seven selectable driving modes for tackling varied terrain. The Barbarian model gains Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD II system, complete with a torque-sensing locking centre differential that uniquely allows full-time four-wheel drive to be engaged on tarmac as well as off road, making it particularly well suited to towing duties.
The load bed measures 1,555 mm in length and 1,545 mm in width, with a depth of 526 mm, comfortably accommodating a standard 1200 x 800 mm Euro pallet and offering plenty of room for bulky equipment or materials. Fixings are included throughout for securely tying down loads. Maximum payload stands at 1,092 kg for the Titan and 1,025 kg for the Barbarian, with both specifications rated for an 80 kg roof loading capacity.

The Mitsubishi L200 Titan Commercial is priced from £37,495.00 CVOTR, while the Barbarian Commercial starts at £41,195.00 CVOTR.
