AssetGo, the fleet and compliance management systems provider, announces its official approval by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) as a systems provider for drivers’ hours under the DVSA’s prestigious Earned Recognition (ER) scheme.
This approval builds on AssetGo’s long-standing role as an approved ER provider for vehicle maintenance—a position the company has held for several years. With this latest recognition, AssetGo now offers full ER data integration for both key pillars of the scheme: drivers’ hours and vehicle maintenance, supporting transport operators in achieving top-tier compliance.
The DVSA Earned Recognition scheme allows vehicle operators to demonstrate that they consistently meet robust driver and vehicle compliance standards. In return, accredited operators benefit from fewer roadside checks and a stronger reputation with clients and regulators. By becoming an approved systems provider for both elements, AssetGo enables fleet operators to manage and report on their compliance status more efficiently through one centralised platform.
As part of the scheme, systems approved for vehicle maintenance must be capable of tracking and reporting on maintenance schedules, recording vehicle defects and inspections, showing timely rectification of issues, and submitting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) securely to the DVSA.
Similarly, systems approved for drivers’ hours must analyse tachograph data, monitor working time directive compliance, identify and report infringements, and transmit relevant KPI reports to the DVSA in a compliant and secure manner.
Commercial Director, Matt Abrams, is upbeat regarding the achievement: “Becoming a DVSA-approved provider for drivers’ hours under Earned Recognition is a significant milestone for AssetGo. It reflects the strength of our platform and our commitment to helping operators streamline their compliance processes.
We’re proud to now support our customers across both core areas of the scheme—maintenance and driver hours—through one seamless system.”
