JOB: Adrian Vinsome bags Director post

Adrian Vinsome has been appointed Interim Director of the Transport Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), it has been announced.

Mr Vinsome, currently Head of Programmes at Cenex, will take over from Neil Ridley on November 1.

The outgoing Mr Ridley will take up the role of Director of Business Development at the Transport Systems Catapult.

Mr Vinsome said: “I am looking forward to working with the high calibre team of individuals that form the backbone of the Transport KTN.

“There is a lot of interest and enthusiasm in the wider transport context at the moment and helping to facilitate awareness of the opportunities for both funding and collaboration across sector boundaries should be rewarding.”

Mr Vinsome started his professional career with Jaguar Cars, before working for the Universities of Warwick and Durham on collaborative research and technology transfer programmes with industry.

He is a Chartered Engineer and an active IET member, with more than 20years’ experience in project and programme management.

Mr Ridley added: “The Transport KTN has been in existence for just three years during which time it has made a significant contribution to stimulating the sharing of ideas and solutions across the entire transport industry.

“With Adrian’s experience and the backing of the other team members I am confident that it will continue to go from strength to strength.”
