Škoda Appoints Rod McLeod As Brand Director

Rod McLeod will take over as Director of ŠKODA UK from 1 February 2018, replacing Duncan Movassaghi who assumes the position of Senior Vice President, Sales, for Volkswagen brand in North America.
McLeod joined Volkswagen in 1996, and has worked across a variety of disciplines, including senior roles in Fleet, Product, and as Head of Marketing, where he was responsible for product specification, pricing and advertising for all models.
In his most recent role as Head of Sales Operations, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, the brand has bucked the market trend and grown to an 8.2 per cent UK share.
Commenting on his new appointment, McLeod said: “The development of the ŠKODA brand over the past few years has been extremely impressive, and with the recent launches of the new Karoq and Kodiaq, it has a strong and enviable model line-up. I am really looking forward to working with the UK team and all dealer partners to continue the momentum.”
