OUTSOURCED: Personal Group bag 17 Ibizas
Leading employee benefits provider Personal Group are outsourcing their in-house fleet provision to GE Capital Fleet Services.
After a competitive tender, GE Capital won the battle to provide 37 Seat Ibizas to the Milton Keynes-based company.
Benefits to Personal Group and their staff include high-specification cars, reduced insurance costs due to telematics provision and lower likelihood of breakdowns.
The main fleet of cars are new Seat Ibiza 5Dr 1.2 TDI CR Ecomotive SE hatchbacks, supplied in metallic ice silver with dark tinted rear windows.
GE Capital Fleet Services are also providing comprehensive 24hour accident management cover, helping Personal Group to keep maintenance costs down.
Telematics will be used to assist with expenses calculations and sales executives will be able to see a more dynamic view of their fuel consumption and what affects it.
A new fuel card deal has also been put in place which will cut costs, while driver training is available via online tutorials.
Additionally, Personal Group are cutting environmental impact with the new fleet, with the Ibizas having CO2 emission ratings of 92g/km.
Phil Yates, Operations Director of Personal Group, said: “The new fleet will provide our sales executives with a great vehicle which has a great equipment specification.
“It has Seat’s Portable Navigation system, a Bluetooth connection with audio streaming, alloy wheels, air-con and heated mirrors.
“On top of all that it has greatly reduced our CO2 emissions which was one of the driving factors behind the change.
“The addition of telematics has also helped to reduce our insurance costs and I’m sure they will be beneficial in the future when it comes to encouraging environmentally friendly driving to further reduce our emissions and fuel costs to both us and our executives.
“It’s a win-win situation for everyone, better cars for our staff, we save money, there is less hassle as GE Capital look after all aspects of the fleet and we receive better management information on the fleet thanks to the telematics.”
