A new online auction website has just launched which will offer a free service to dealers, car supermarkets, fleets and finance companies, following a six-figure investment by Independent Motor Auctions.

The new auction website is the result of a partnership between DealerTrade and Independent Motor Auctions.  Backed by leading-edge technology, DealerTrade Auction caters for the whole of the automotive market, not just franchised dealers.

Justin Lane, Managing Director of Independent Motor Auctions commented: “We have invested heavily in the development of Dealer Trade Auction and it is supported by over 100 years of motor experience between the two companies that are behind it. We can now offer local and national clients two auction sites in Leeds and Blackpool, as well as our new online auction service.

“We have worked closely with DealerTrade over the last six months to create the new auction website, where vendors can upload cars themselves, with the vehicle remaining on their premises.  The winning bidder pays the vendor, so the vehicle owner stays in full control thoughout the auction. Buyers are charged a nominal fee.

“We are delighted that so many companies have already agreed to use the free-to-sell service.  Up until now, the majority of online auctions have specialised in one area of the market, but now a host of automotive clients can access our free-to-sell auction service.”

Independent Motor Auction’s clients include Arnold Clark Motor Group, ADT, Alliance Healthcare, Burrows Motor Group, British Gas, Cars2 Motor Group, Colin Appleyard Group, Days Fleet, Days Motor Park, Dereck Slack, Jennings Motor Group, John Roe Motor Group, Richard Hardie Motor Group, Sg Petch Group, TC Harrison Leasing, Vantage Motor Group.
