Mercedes-Benz Training Centre recognised by Princess Royal Training Awards

Mercedes-Benz has been recognised at this year’s Princess Royal Training Awards – established by the City & Guilds Group – which was introduced to reward organisations dedicated to training and skills development.

Award winners were honoured by HRH Princess Anne for creating lasting impact by successfully linking their skills development needs to business performance. Out of 116, only 40 organisations were chosen to receive the prestigious award.

Andrew Mallery, Training Operations Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars UK, commented: “This award is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team here at Mercedes-Benz. Our franchised dealers serve over one million customers in the UK, so it’s critical that we are committed to delivering the best possible training for our retail staff.”

Chris Jones, Chief Executive of the City & Guilds Group said: “From household brands to leading charities, employers of all sizes across the UK are seeing real and tangible benefits of training and developing their people. The Princess Royal Training Awards provide both recognition and the opportunity to share best practice and its impact.”
