Intertek, a leading quality solutions provider, is delighted that its Milton Keynes Transportation Technologies business has been recognised as the ‘Engine Test Facility of the Year’ in the 2015 Automotive Testing Technology Awards.
Winning this Award ends a great year for Intertek Milton Keynes Transportation Technologies, which has seen considerable expansion in 2015 and can now offer some of the highest specification commercially available engine and driveline test facilities in Europe.
Chosen as the 2015 winner from the many engine test sites across Europe, the Tanners Drive site now boasts 28 engine and driveline test cells with some of the most advanced emissions analysis and automated engine mapping capabilities currently available in the industry. There are ambitious expansion plans in place for the coming years as Intertek Milton Keynes Transportation Technologies strives to provide the ultimate support for its customers, which include some of the most recognisable automotive manufacturers in the world, with the latest test technology and services.
Presenting the Award, John Thornton, Editor of Automotive Testing Technology International said: “Intertek are worthy winners of the Engine Test Facility of the Year Award. There was stiff competition in this category with several new state-of-the-art tech centres being opened, but the Intertek development won thanks to its new advanced technologies and cutting-edge test cells, which are among the highest specification commercially available in Europe. And it has plans for further upgrades in the near future.”
On accepting the Award for the ‘Engine Test Facility of the Year,’ Tony Braddon, Managing Director of the Intertek engine test laboratory in Milton Keynes said: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award.
