Oughtred & Harrison (Facilities) Limited (“O&H”) has today announced that Endless LLP has concluded a deal to acquire the O&H Conversions group. As part of the transaction Endless LLP has agreed to refinance the group and provide additional working capital for the business.

Established in 1988 and based in Goole, East Yorkshire, O&H is one of the leading vehicle converters in the UK, specialising in Patient Transport Service ambulances, front line A&E ambulance vehicles, Wheelchair Access Vehicles, and Welfare vehicles. O&H has a policy of continuous engineering improvement: the company uses lighter, stronger aerospace-type build materials that increase vehicle durability and lower weight, reducing fuel consumption and cutting CO2 emissions, says O&H.

Endless LLP is a private equity fund backed by blue chip US, European and UK institutions with approximately £1 billion in funds under management and revenues across its current investment portfolio of over £3 billion.

Andrew Smith, who joined Endless in May 2016 to become head of its Leeds office, led the transaction and joins the O&H board, supporting the current management team led by Peter Van Smirren.

Peter Van Smirren said “We are very much looking forward to working with the Endless team. In a relatively short period of time we have developed an excellent understanding. We are aligned in our objective to allow O&H to fulfil its potential and solidify its position as a leading provider of vehicle conversions.”

Andrew Smith added, “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to support O&H and the management team’s growth ambitions. O&H has a strong reputation in the vehicle conversion industry and we are excited to be a part of the future for this well-respected business.”
