PREVIEW: RHA ‘looking forward’ to CV Show
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) are ‘looking forward’ to welcoming members and non-members at the Commercial Vehicle Show.
Geoff Dunning, Chief Executive of the RHA, said: “I’m thrilled at the reaction of the industry to this year’s show.
“As of the end of February, total exhibitor space amounted to 31,347 square meters.
“That’s an increase of 2,251 square metres over the 2013 Show opening time last year.
“And when you consider that it was only five years ago the Show was cancelled due to recession, that is a great achievement by any standards.
“We have always said that the success of the UK’s road transport and logistics industry is an accurate indicator as to the health of the rest of the economy.
“On that basis, there can be no doubt that the economy is finally well on the road to recovery.”

The RHA are an official Show Partner at the event.
“The CV Show is a great shop window for us,” added Mr Dunning.
“We have been leading the industry in areas such as load securing, training and haulage company systems and procedures.
“All of that will be evident on our stand and we will be welcoming members and non-members along to go into all of these and other issues in more detail.
“This is an exciting time for our industry.”
This year’s CV Show takes place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, between April 29 and May 1.
Last year’s event attracted more than 18,000 visitors, with even more expected this year.
