PREVIEW: Axtec to introduce Series 5000

Axtec will introduce a new version of their dynamic axle weighbridge at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2014.

The Axtec Series 5000 will be on show at Hall 4, Stand 4K58, and will boast several enhancements to improve performance.

Alterations include wireless communication, faster processing power, higher accuracy, greater data storage capacity, and electronic data transfer facility.

Dynamic axle weighbridges from Axtec are used nationally by VOSA, by local authorities throughout the UK, and by many of the biggest names in retailing and industry.

Vehicles are weighed in motion to remove the effects that stopping and starting have on compensating axles, which can result in inaccurate weighing.

“We’re looking forward keenly to outlining to show visitors how we can provide the optimum solution to their vehicle and axle weighing needs.”

Axtec’s dynamic axle weighbridge is already the most accurate of its type in the world and the only one which achieves the required standard to be offered as a Public Weighbridge.

Derek Hack, Sales Manager at Axtec, said: “Because we undertake all R&D, software testing, fabrication, construction and installation in-house we are able to offer both standard products and bespoke solutions to any axle weighing problem.

“This latest version of our dynamic system provides some exciting and cost saving developments for our customers and we’re looking forward keenly to outlining to show visitors how we can provide the optimum solution to their vehicle and axle weighing needs.”

This year’s CV Show takes place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, between April 29 and May 1.

Last year’s event attracted more than 18,000 visitors, with even more expected this year.

Axtec can be found at Hall 4, Stand 4K58.
