VALUE: Audi RS Q3
Audi’s new SUV, the RS Q3, will offer the strongest predicted residual values in the sector, it has been revealed.
The 310PS, £43,000 vehicle, according to CAP Monitor, will flaunt a 52% residual value, based on a three-year/60,000mile usage.
Only the Porsche Cayman offers a higher residual value in the UK.
Paul Sansom, Head of Sales at Audi, said: “All Audi models are characterised by strong residual values, but the RS Q3 sets a particularly high benchmark.
“This prediction not only reflects the perceived quality, reliability and desirability of the Q3 range, but also the respect the RS badge commands, particularly among UK buyers.
“These factors, combined with the inherent strength of the Audi brand, make the Q3 flagship one of the most compelling propositions not only in SUV terms but in the UK performance car market as a whole.”
The new RS Q3 offers a 2.5litre, five-cylinder TFSI engine linked exclusively to a seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission.
It achieves 0-62mph in 5.2seconds and a top speed of 155mph, as well as 32.1mpg and CO2 output of 206g/km.
