FIRST: Brand-new Audi A3 Saloon

Audi are now taking orders for the brand-new A3 Saloon – the first ever ‘three-box’ A3 variant in the UK market.

Priced from £24,275 to £28,105, the first UK deliveries start in September; customers can choose from Sport or S line trims, and three engines, including a TDI.

Longer, wider and lower than the five-door A3 Sportback, the vehicle offers 45litres more luggage space (425l).

Sport and S line versions sit on 17-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels respectively, though comfort-oriented standard suspension is available for no extra cost.

The most fleet-friendly engine, the 2.0-litre diesel, offers combined fuel economy of 68.9mpg, a CO2 output of 107g/km and accelerates to 62mph in 8.7seconds.

A 1.4-litre TFSI and 1.8-litre TFSI version are also available.

Standard features include sports seats, digital radio, SD card navigation preparation, Audi Music Interface iPod connection, Bluetooth and a Driver Information System.

Optional extras include the Audi connect package, which delivers information such as  Google Maps, Google Street View, traffic information, music stream, social networking and nearby fuel locations.

Further options such as glass sunroof, audio upgrade, cruise control and hands-free parking can also be added.
