RENEWED: 50,000 more Michelins to be fitted

Michelin are gearing up to replace 50,000 more tyres after Arnold Clark Vehicle Management renewed their policy until 2015.

The two-year extension cements Michelin as first choice fit on Arnold Clark’s fleet of 35,000 cars and vans.

One of the UK’s largest independent contract hire and leasing companies, Arnold Clark have gradually increased their fitment of Michelin tyres over the past 12 years.

Iain Grant, Administration Manager of Arnold Clark, said fitting Michelin tyres provides safety benefits for customers as well as adding technical support value.

“Michelin is a forward-thinking company which manufactures quality tyres, and our customers recognise it as a trusted brand which they have confidence in,” he said.

“For us, Michelin tyres provide the best mileage compared to any other premium brand, and for our customers their safety credentials are second to none.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Michelin and the team there are always prepared to go the extra mile.

“They have provided tremendous support throughout our partnership, from offering us advice and information on the benefits of cold weather tyres to keeping us up to date with new legislation.

“They have kept us informed about tyre labelling developments, and have also thought ahead and advised us about future laws surrounding tyre pressure monitoring systems.

“Having this information allows us to give practical advice on these subjects and provide a better service for our customers.”

Andrew Guile, Key Account Manager of Michelin, added: “Arnold Clark Vehicle Management has been a valued customer of ours for more than a decade, so we are delighted to have secured their business for a further two years and look forward to continuing our partnership.”

Arnold Clark Vehicle Management offer a range of vehicle makes and models for contract hire and leasing throughout the UK.
