DragonSea moves to electric removals with 37 Farizon SVs
DragonSea, an international shipping company specialising in moving the household possessions of people relocating from China to the UK, is taking delivery of 37 Farizon SV electric vans.
The company, which operates depots in London and Edinburgh, has selected the Farizon SV L1H1 with an 83 kWh battery to support its door-to-door removals service.
The deal was facilitated by Driveway Vehicle Solutions, which has arranged a two-year lease for the 37 vans. The vehicles will be supplied by Pentagon Farizon Derby.
The Farizon SV L1H1 83 kWh offers 6.95m³ of load space and a maximum payload of 1,265kg, making it well suited to transporting household furniture and other domestic possessions.
An ultra-low loading height of just 550mm is designed to make loading and unloading heavier items easier, while the 83 kWh battery provides a WLTP Combined range of up to 234 miles.
For DragonSea, the combination of payload, load capacity, loading accessibility and electric range provides the capability required for its specialist removals operation.

The Farizon SV line-up starts from £39,000 plus VAT for the Core model, excluding delivery, ZEVG, first registration fee and VED.
Premium equipment fitted as standard includes heated seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, a 360-degree surround-view camera and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems.
Higher-specification versions add features including a payload monitoring system, heated windscreen, automatic wipers and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology. The Farizon SV has also achieved a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
The electric van is available with 67 kWh, 83 kWh and 106 kWh battery options, depending on specification. WLTP Combined range varies from 177 to 247 miles across the SV line-up, while charging from 20 to 80 per cent takes as little as 36 minutes.
DragonSea’s 37-strong Farizon SV order represents a significant addition to the UK’s growing electric van market and demonstrates how electric LCVs are increasingly being considered for demanding specialist applications, including removals and furniture transportation.
