The Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show returns to the NEC Birmingham from 21–23 April 2026, marking its largest and most ambitious edition to date.
The 2026 show welcomes 320 exhibitors, features the new Bus & Coach Expo for the first time, and expands across Halls 4 and 5, reinforcing its status as the UK’s premier event for the commercial road transport sector.
Some of the biggest commercial vehicle manufacturers will showcase their latest products and launches, including Chery, making its UK debut, IVECO with the eJolly and eSuperJolly, as well as returning brands Farizon, Ford, Isuzu, KIA and Renault.
Fuelling Change: Decarbonising Road Transport
Under the theme ‘Fuelling Change: the route to decarbonising road transport’, the show arrives at a pivotal moment for operators across LCV, HGV, and bus & coach sectors. The CV Show provides a comprehensive view of the transition to net zero, highlighting decarbonisation pathways, innovative vehicle technologies, and practical strategies for fleet operators.
Beyond sustainability, the 2026 event will spotlight artificial intelligence, emerging fleet technologies, workforce development, driver welfare, and skills training, reflecting the full spectrum of change reshaping the sector.
By the Industry, for the Industry
The CV Show brings together manufacturers, innovators, fleet operators, policymakers and industry bodies to tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead. For the first time, dedicated industry research will explore decarbonisation, investment, infrastructure, and technology adoption across LCV, HGV, and bus & coach sectors. The findings will guide on-site discussions, ensuring content is directly relevant to industry priorities.
The show expands from three stages to six, including the new Future Fleet Arena, Driver Safety Theatre, and Bus & Coach Leaders Forum, alongside the established Main Stage, Technical Theatre, and Decarbonisation Theatre.
Over 150 expert speakers will present more than 75 seminars and panel discussions, covering decarbonisation, digital transformation, workforce development, safety, finance, regulation, and practical solutions for operators. Feature areas such as the Future Fleet Lab, Driver Safety Zone, Collaboration Zone, live demonstrations, and Ride & Drive experiences bring these themes to life on the show floor.
Leadership, Insight and Influence
Industry leadership is at the heart of CV Show 2026. The event will open with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders’ (SMMT) Industry Address and the unveiling of the latest CV Report, setting the tone for three days of discussion and forward-thinking insight. SMMT and the Road Haulage Association (RHA) will provide expertise, policy guidance, and thought leadership throughout the programme.
Co-located with Bus & Coach Expo
For the first time, the CV Show will be co-located with Bus & Coach Expo, creating a unique platform to explore commercial and passenger transport under one roof. The combined event promotes cross-sector collaboration at a time when shared challenges require joined-up thinking.
With record attendance, 24% year-on-year visitor growth, expanded content, new research, and unparalleled industry involvement, CV Show 2026 is set to be the essential meeting place for shaping the future of UK road transport.
