The new Partner van
Full range of PEUGEOT LCVs, including Partner Electric, will be displayed in Hall 5, on stand 5F100
PEUGEOT is celebrating 120 years of light commercial vehicle production in 2015 , and what better way to mark such a significant anniversary than with the debut of the new Partner van.
It’s taking centre stage at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show (at the NEC, Birmingham, 14th – 16th April) and is joined on the stand by other vehicles from the brand’s award-winning, four-model LCV range.
The Bipper, Partner, Expert and Boxer vans illustrate perfectly how PEUGEOT offers everything a British business needs to keep it moving – exceptional versatility, high-quality durability, outstanding reliability, stylish design, desirable specification and great value.
PEUGEOT enters its 120th year of LCV business in a position of strength. LCV sales in the UK were up more than 50% last year – the largest market growth of any LCV manufacturer. Sales reached 32,254 units and PEUGEOT ended the year as the fourth largest company in the market, a jump of two places compared to 2013.
Attracting most attention at the NEC will be the enhanced PEUGEOT Partner van, the UK’s favourite in the compact sector and one of the UK’s most popular LCVs. Since 1996 its practical one-box body style has shaped the segment, fulfilling an ‘everyday workhorse’ role for business users who demand outstanding efficiency and robustness.
New for 2015, to be launched in June, the new PEUGEOT Partner has a wide range of engines which sees the introduction of a Euro 6 variant. In total, six engines / gearbox combinations are available, delivering from 75 to 100hp, with fuel consumption and CO2 emissions achieving, on average, 15% lower than the predecessor model. The 1.6-litre BlueHDi 100 S&S version has the lowest CO2 emissions in the segment, just 108g/km, with either manual or electronic controlled gearboxes.
Also on PEUGEOT’s stand at the NEC will be the Partner Electric van, with zero emissions and a potential range of 105 miles between charges. Its battery carries an eight-year / 60,000-mile warranty.
PEUGEOT is also using the CV Show to illustrate how versatile its range is when faced with the UK’s diverse terrain and weather. A key element to this is Grip Control, a pioneering technology which allows PEUGEOT LCVs to keep business drivers on schedule in the most demanding conditions.
TomTom, a semi integrated unit, will be introduced from June to the entire PEUGEOT Professional range, recognising the evolving needs of a professional van driver. The PEUGEOT stand will feature a preview of this with an interactive TomTom display.
Visitors to the 2015 Commercial Vehicle Show can find PEUGEOT in Hall 5, at stand 5F100.
