Three more of Truckman’s innovative pick-up accessories for the Toyota Hilux have been granted official approval.
The country’s leading supplier and manufacturer of 4×4 accessories has gained approved accessory status from the automotive giant for the robust truck bed drawer system DECKED, the hardwearing Retrax Roller Tonneau and the Undercover Swing Case toolbox.
DECKED, the latest must-have accessory from the United States, is one of the most popular methods for owners to securely store and organise equipment in their truck bed.
The raised deck, which incorporates a galvanised steel-sub frame, is capable of carrying up to 1,000kg, while each of the twin full-bed length drawers can accommodate 100kg of cargo.
The system is perfect for commercial users, such as electricians, builders and landscapers, as well as leisure users who wish to maintain a well-organised truck bed.
Ergonomically designed, the drawers run freely and provide easy access to tools and cargo. DECKED, which has a three year warranty, is built from rugged High Density Polyethylene and is both weatherproof and rot proof. It can also be used in conjunction with a Truckman hardtop or soft tonneau.
Another accessory approved is the hard-wearing Truckman Retrax roller tonneau cover, which provides a secure and weatherproof space for equipment.
It is constructed from industrial strength twin wall extruded aluminium slats that provide strength and ruggedness, finished off in a heavy-duty matte black finish.
The Retrax can carry up to 100kg and its compact storage cassette unit features a unique spiral track system that prevents the inner and outer surfaces coming into contact. The cover is unique because it runs on sealed for life roller bearings and can be locked into any position.
Truckman Retrax is available with an optional roll bar and comes with a five-year warranty.
The Undercover Swing Case truck bed toolbox is made from durable ABS plastic and is custom designed to sit on the wheel arch, ensuring the best use of truck bed space. The case also swings in and out allowing easy access to tools.
Fitted with a twist lock system, it can also be lifted out to allow tools to be carried from pick-up to workstation with ease.
