Two more companies join Team Grenadier
Hobson Industries and TVS Supply Chain Solutions have become the latest companies to join Team Grenadier, the UK-anchored industrial consortium set up to deliver a range of vehicles suited to deployment by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), built on the INEOS Grenadier platform. The two new partners join existing consortium members INEOS Automotive, SMT Defence and NMS UK.
The addition of Hobson Industries and TVS Supply Chain Solutions strengthens Team Grenadier’s commitment to providing exceptional in-service support to the British military, with the aim of keeping vehicles mission-ready throughout their operational life.
Hobson Industries specialises in worldwide vehicle reconditioning, fleet renovation and end-of-life vehicle support, and brings 40 years of experience as a first-tier supplier for defence programmes, including work for the Ministry of Defence. TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) contributes decades of experience in parts management and global supply chain management, having worked with a wide range of defence organisations.
Together, the consortium is built to meet the core requirements of the MoD’s Light Mobility Vehicle (LMV) programme, pairing a world-leading 4×4 vehicle platform with deep-rooted special operations and systems integration expertise. Team Grenadier is backed by proven UK-based industrial capability capable of delivering operational effectiveness, supply-chain resilience and assured service-life support across the vehicles’ operational lifespan.
Team Grenadier will demonstrate a selection of its militarised vehicles at DVD2026, taking place at UTAC Millbrook in Bedfordshire from 16 to 17 September 2026. The Enhanced Protection Vehicle (EPV) Grenadier will be shown on the NMS stand, while the General-Purpose Vehicle (GPV) Grenadier and Multi-Role Light Vehicle (MRLV) will feature on the Hobsons stand.
Mike Whittington, Chief Commercial Officer at INEOS Automotive, said: “Both Hobsons and TVS SCS bring considerable military understanding, commercial best practice, and proven programme delivery to the Team Grenadier consortium. Together we can deliver operational resilience, scalability and exceptional in-service support required by the MoD throughout the operational lifetime of the Grenadiers, while backing domestic industry and creating and supporting UK jobs.”
Visitors to DVD2026 will be able to experience passenger rides in the GPV Grenadier within the event’s Dynamic Area, offering a hands-on look at the vehicle’s capability in a live demonstration setting.
The Grenadier MRLV is one of nine modular LMV applications built on the same strong, robust platform that underpins the award-winning series production Grenadier, centred on its steel ladder frame, solid beam axles and world-class powertrain. Beyond its more than 36,000 retail customers worldwide, the vehicle has already proven itself in demanding operational environments with emergency services and border force operations across Europe, and more recently through significant vehicle contracts with military organisations, including the Italian military. The Grenadier’s combination of exceptional cross-country mobility, outstanding durability and straightforward maintenance makes it well suited to long-term military service, reinforcing why Team Grenadier is positioning the platform as a strong contender for the MoD’s Light Mobility Vehicle requirements.
With Hobson Industries and TVS Supply Chain Solutions now on board, Team Grenadier’s consortium spans vehicle engineering, systems integration, fleet reconditioning and global supply chain management, giving it a broader base of UK industrial expertise to draw on as it pursues MoD contracts and demonstrates its capability at events such as DVD2026.
