Independent parcel carrier Yodel has today announced the launch of Xpect Returns, a new enhanced collection service for returning purchases to retailers. Customers can now have their returns picked-up from their location by Yodel within a two-hour collection window and returned to the retailer.
The service, which is now available through several UK retailers, will improve customer satisfaction by offering a fully trackable service. Both customers and retailers can track the status of the collection and return of the package via push notifications through a mobile device application, email or SMS.
The new two-hour collection window makes the returns process more convenient for both consumers and retailers. The two-hour window allows customers to better plan their day and stay informed on the status of their collection. Parcels can be collected the next day, or on a nominated day of the customer’s choice, and will be returned to the retailer within 48 hours of this collection.
