ORDER: 360 VW vans for housing association
Wakefield and District Housing have ordered 360 all-new Volkswagen commercial vehicles.
The bumper order comprises a mix of Caddy, Transporter and Crafter vans, with the deal also including Engineered-to-Go Crafter Dropsides.
Volkswagen’s first supply of 119 vehicles will be introduced between June and September, and go towards servicing 31,000 properties.
A further 126 vehicles are due to arrive between September and December.
All vehicles will be used by the housing association’s property maintenance teams, which consist of a full mix of trades including builders, plumbers, electricians and ground staff.
“The flexibility of the Volkswagen model range has allowed us to customise the vehicles to meet our exact needs.”
