LAUNCHED: New trim levels for Passat

Volkswagen are adding two new ‘luxurious and stylish’ trim levels to their Passat range.

Executive and Executive Style, available to order from today, are priced from £20,235, and replace the Highline, Sport and R-Line trims.

The Executive sits above the entry-level S and BlueMotion models, and offers more than £1,700-worth of equipment versus the Highline model it replaces, for a £200 premium.

On the outside, new 17inch ‘Michigan’ alloy wheels are complemented by exterior chrome trim, along with matt black roof rails on the Estate.

Inside, Volkswagen’s RNS 315 touchscreen satellite navigation system is available alongside standard DAB radio, MDI multi-device interface with USB and iPhone cables and Bluetooth.

The leather-trimmed multifunction wheel and gear lever are enhanced by Vienna leather upholstery, including heated front seats, and electric adjustment for the driver’s seat.

2Zone climate control is also standard on the Executive, along with automatic lights and wipers, auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, cruise control and parking sensors.

The Executive Style adds 15mm lower sports suspension, 18inch ‘Kansas’ alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, front fog lights and tinted rear glass.

Worth more than £2,000, the features are available for just £995 over the Executive.
