‘Stand-out’ Colour Editions join Mazda2 range

OUT: New Mazda2 Colour Edition

Mazda are adding two new Colour Edition models to their Mazda2 lineup.

Priced from £11,745, the five-door Colour Edition and Sport Colour Edition hatchbacks feature three exterior colours, unique colouration alloy wheels and interior colour-coded design cues.

They will be limited to a production run of 1,000 units each.

The Mazda2 lineup is also being enhanced, with a new 1.3litre SE Air Con model now kicking off the range, priced from £11,195.

Peter Allibon, Sales Director at Mazda UK, said: “Our latest limited edition models offer even greater value to Mazda customers for 2014.

“The Colour Edition and Sport Colour Edition hatchbacks present buyers with the opportunity to acquire the agile, fun-to-drive Mazda2 with ‘stand-out’ looks, a generously-enhanced specification and premium ambience.”

Powered by Mazda’s 1.3litre 75PS petrol engine, the ‘Colour Edition’ has 11 items of additional equipment, including 15inch dark grey alloy wheels and privacy glass.

Inside, black seat trim with red piping, leather multifunction steering wheel, gloss dark grey steering wheel and audio panel inserts and Bluetooth, all feature.

The ‘Sport Colour Edition’ is fitted with a 1.3litre 85PS engine, and is equipped with 11 extra equipment items above the ‘Colour Edition’ model.

Additional spec includes 16inch dark grey alloy wheels, Sports styling kit, Sports headlamps, front fog lights, Mazda Navigation System, Bluetooth, a trip computer, leather gear knob and electric rear windows.

Both of the new models are available in True Red, Crystal White and Aluminium Silver.
