Be one of the first to take a spin in the special ‘Tumbling Car’ seatbelt demonstrator, visiting the UK for the first time.

Road safety and breakdown organisation GEM Motoring Assist is pleased to join with Sussex Safer Roads Partnership to extend an invitation for journalists visiting the Goodwood Festival of Speed to take a ride in the special ‘Tumbling Car’ seatbelt demonstrator that will be operating at Stand 409.

The car, loaned by the Belgian authorities with the support of the GEM Road Safety Charity, gives passengers an experience of just how vital a seatbelt is in a moving car. The Tumbling Car will take passengers for a spin – quite literally – while showing how their seatbelt will hold them in place, even when the car is rotating or hanging upside-down. It’s a spectacular reminder that you should always wear your seatbelt.

If you would like to visit our stand for a photo and interview opportunity of this innovative road safety tool, please contact Jo fisher at GEM ([email protected], 01342 825676). Press Day is Thursday 29 June, and the Tumbling Car will be available on all four days of the Festival.
