NEW: I TECH trim for Altea

Seat are introducing two new I TECH trims for the Altea, replacing the outgoing Copa trim and offering more equipment for the same price.

Listed from £19,345 with first deliveries expected next month, the Altea and Altea XL will now only be available in the I TECH  trim.

Standard equipment includes 16inch titanium finish alloys wheels, front parking sensors, a colour TFT screen for rear passengers, and forward sliding rear seats.

Climate control, automatic wipers and headlights, rear parking sensors, SEAT Media System 2.2, a double floor boot, and overhead interior storage are also included.

Three powertrain options are available: a 62.8mpg 1.6litre TDI Ecomotive diesel engine with 105PS, the same engine with a DSG automatic transmission, and a 2.0litre TDI diesel with 140PS.

Steve Mirfin, Product Manager at Seat, said: “With the Altea I TECH models we’re giving the customer great value and a simplified choice.

“We’re also reflecting buyer preference – over the last year, more than nine of ten Altea models sold were specified in SE Copa trim, on which the enhanced I TECH is based.”
