Jane Gorick, the co-founder of leading reusable transit packaging support provider Packaging Services Europe (PSE), has received a nomination at this year’s Forward Ladies Awards. Gorick has been shortlisted in the SME Growth category of the Midlands regional final.
Celebrating women in business, the Forward Ladies Awards is one of the largest ceremonies of its kind in the UK. The SME Growth category shines a spotlight on new and emerging businesses that are offering an innovative product or service to an existing marketplace.
The award nomination is testament to PSE’s success. Since its founding in January 2016, PSE has grown to become an industry-leading provider of pallet wash, inspect, clean and repair services. Helmed by Gorick and her business partner Andrew Parkinson, the business has grown its network to include facilities in the Midlands, Yorkshire and Ireland, and now works with some of the UK’s leading reusable packaging rental companies.
Speaking of her nomination, Gorick said: “It’s an honour to have been shortlisted for the Midlands final of the Forward Ladies awards. I’m sharing the category with representatives from some of the region’s most exciting and fastest growing businesses, and I’d like to wish all of my fellow nominees the best of luck!
“PSE has experienced consistent growth since its launch at the start of the last year and this nomination is a fantastic testament to that. There are some exciting plans for the business ahead and I’m looking forward to working towards them.”
The Midland’s ceremony takes place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Friday, 29th September. The winner from this and the other regional finals will then be invited to appear before a panel of judges in November, before the national final, in Leeds, on 1stDecember.
