DEALS: Paragon bag two new Fiat contracts

Paragon are celebrating winning two new major contracts with Fiat Group Automobiles UK.

The contracts – to be run from Paragon Vehicle Services’ (PVS) Bristol site – are for the management of Fiat’s import centre operations and the delivery of direct fleet vehicles.

PVS and Fiat Group have worked together for more than 20years, with around two ships a week currently delivering Fiat Group vehicles into the UK.

Following transferral into Paragon’s custody, a joint inspection is conducted and the vehicles are entered into the PVS system.

This involves storage, handling and preparation of the vehicles.

Mark Hindley, Business Development Director at PVS, said: “We’re delighted that Fiat Group Automobiles has decided to renew its contract with PVS for the supply of compound and technical services in the UK market.

“At PVS we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of quality and customer service to our clients and we look forward building on our relationship with Fiat Group Automobiles in the future.

“Our strong track record of working with Fiat Group Automobiles is shown through the new direct fleet vehicle contract.

“We will prepare all vehicles to Fiat’s stringent quality standards and distribute them to Fiat’s fleet customers nationwide in the most perfect condition.”

Carlo Saracco, Logistics Director at Fiat Group Automobiles UK, added: “Following the latest tender process, we are happy to partner again with Paragon for our storage and vehicle services and, for the first time, direct fleet transport activities.

“This is an excellent arrangement.”
