Is Now The Right Time To Go Ultra-Low

LeasePlan UK is hosting its first Road to Net Zero Emissions event at the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre, Milton Keynes.

The event, aimed at fleet decision makers, will provide information on how firms can transform their fleet to ultra low emission and low emission models, and the benefits of doing so. It will also provide information on making sure drivers have access to electric vehicles, and the necessary infrastructure.

LeasePlan UK’s Managing Director, Matt Dyer, will be discussing ‘what’s driving the need for increasing fleet sustainability?’ whilst Nicolas Meilhan from Frost & Sullivan will be setting out the latest developments from OEMs and, following an electric vehicle ride and drive experience, Matthew Walters Head of Consultancy Services at LeasePlan UK will be discussing How can you lower the emissions of your fleet?

Delegates will also hear, via video message from LeasePlan CEO Tex Gunning who is currently attending the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, with the aim of accelerating the zero emission mobility revolution.

As a founding member of the EV100 initiative, LeasePlan is committed to fast-tracking the uptake of electric vehicles and infrastructure. LeasePlan aims to make its entire employee fleet electric by 2021 and achieve net zero emissions from its total global fleet by 2030. Being one of the world’s leading vehicle management groups, it is dedicated to driving sustainability within fleet management, and educating customers on What’s next in low-emission vehicles.

To deliver these commitments, LeasePlan has launched a range of new services to tackle the pain points for businesses thinking of switching to ultra-low emission vehicles. From LeasePlan’s 360 formula, which aims to identify opportunities to reduce overall fleet costs whilst improving driver safety and reducing environmental impact, to its Net Zero Scan and Electric Vehicle Consultancy service.
