Nexus Vehicle Rental, the UK’s leading tech driven business mobility provider, has been shortlisted for ‘Logistics Partner of the Year’ in the Freight Transport Association’s flagship Logistics Awards.

Nexus has secured a place on the shortlist for the award, which received a significant number of entries, thanks to its commitment to innovation, its industry-leading rental booking platform and for saving customers an average of 20 per cent on their rental spend.

Nexus is one of just four businesses shortlisted in the Logistics Partner category, which recognises industry leadership and excellence across customer care, employment and training, technology, innovation and safety.

Earlier this year, in response to customer demand, Nexus used its technological expertise to become the first and only rental provider to offer a UK-wide HGV rental solution alongside cars and vans through a single source platform. Through its unrivalled supply, customers have access to more than 550,000 vehicles across 2,000 locations, available anywhere and at any time. New bookings can be made in 30 seconds and repeat bookings in just 10 at the click of a mouse or via smartphone.

CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental, David Brennan, said: “To be shortlisted for such a highly competitive award is an honour and testament to the ever evolving and high quality service we offer our customers.

“We have enjoyed an excellent year with innovation at the forefront, offering flexibility with an industry-leading supply of vehicles, providing Management Information that allows customers to make substantial savings and committing to high quality customer service.

“Having already picked up awards in 2017 for innovation, customer service and our dedication to employee development, we are delighted to be in the running for yet another significant accolade.”

Earlier this year, Nexus won two Best Business Awards for Best Customer Focus and Best Innovation, as well as being named SME Employer of the Year in the BPP Professional Education Apprentice of the Year Awards.

The Logistics Awards 2017 will be presented at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, in London on Wednesday 13 December.
