LAUNCHED: New iPad app by Epyx
A new iPad app is being launched by Epyx that will enable dealers to buy used stock online through the company’s 1link Disposal Network.
The new app builds on the existing 1link Disposal Network iPhone app, which is now used by 40% of the e-commerce platform’s dealer customer base.
Richard Sangster, Product Manager of Disposal Platforms at Epyx, said: “We are seeing a lot of evidence that dealers are becoming more and more comfortable when it comes to using mobile devices to buy and sell used cars and vans.
“The new iPad app has all the features accessible through the standard 1link Disposal Network portal and improves on the iPhone version by providing key features such as the ability to easily compare vehicles dealers have shortlisted on the same screen as well as to search for similar cars and vans.”
The new iPad app – and the existing iPhone app – will be available shortly for download from the Apple App Store.
1link Disposal Network is used by major fleets such as leasing companies to sell stock to used car and van dealers.
It forms a component in the 1link cradle-to-grave e-commerce vehicle life cycle which includes e-commerce platforms covering vehicle procurement, service and maintenance, taxation and rental.
