UP: Mazda celebrate RV boost

Residual values for the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda3 have received big boosts by forecasters CAP Automotive.

Across the key three-year/60,000mile benchmark, the CX-5 have had their residuals increased by 8% to 46%, with the new Mazda3 declared the class leader.

Meanwhile, the Mazda6 and Mazda5 have experienced an average three percentage-point uplift, while the MX-5 and Mazda2 each received a two percentage-point rise.

Steve Tomlinson, Head of Fleet at Mazda, said: “The residual value uplift across the Mazda range means that our cars make even more financial sense for fleets.

“Mazda models have always been amongst the best in the residual value stakes in each market sector and this latest increase strengthens the financial argument in favour of our cars.”
