TOLL: Pass means free RHA July passage

M6 Toll Road operators Midlands Expressway Limited are reminding Road Haulage Association (RHA) members they require their passes for free July passage.

All RHA members who registered for the free M6 Toll passage trial offer before the May 17 closing date have now been issued with their passes.

Midlands Expressway have said any members attempting to use the motorway without the official pass will be charged at the appropriate toll rate.

Pete Cleaver, Director of Tolling Operations of Midland Expressway, said: “It’s simple; no pass -no free passage.

“Despite stressing the fact that only members of the Road Haulage Association are eligible for this free trial, this key fact has become somewhat diluted; there have been reports that all trucks can travel free during July.

“This is most certainly not the case and, with only a couple of weeks to go until the offer starts, it is vitally important that this message is heeded”.
