REFRESHED: Kia shake up offering
Kia have added two new range-topping models to the Picanto and Rio lineup.
The Picanto ‘4’ and Rio ‘4’ variants include features never previously available on Kia’s smaller cars.
Kia have also made the Pro_Cee’d available in ‘SE Tech’ trim, the Picanto ‘3’ and Rio ‘3’ available with automatic transmission, and the Sorento ‘KX-4’ the range’s flagship.
All additions, Kia claim, are in response to customers seeking greater luxury through higher-specification trim levels.
The Picanto ‘4’ standard specification will include automatic air conditioning, 15inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and heated front seats.
Comfort and appearance enhancements include an electric tilting and sliding sunroof, UV solar windshield glass, heated steering wheel and smart key entry system.
It will come with a 65.7mpg, 1.6litre 126hp CRDi turbodiesel engine and six-speed manual gearbox, priced at £22,795.
The new Rio ‘4′ adds to the existing ‘3′ specification smart key with engine start button, a power sliding and tilting sunroof, black leather upholstery and a heated steering wheel.
It is available in petrol and diesel engine variants, priced from £15,495 and offering CO2emissions from 105g/km.
Meanwhile, the Sorento ‘KX-4’ SUV, priced £36,495, will now feature parallel park assist, memory seat function, 19inch alloy wheels, rear side door sunshade blinds and a silver front mesh grille.
