BOOST: JLL add 98 Citroen vans

International real estate management company Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) are taking delivery of 77 Citroen Berlingos and 21 Citroen Dispatches.

The 98-strong fleet will be used by JLL’s specialist service engineers who look after the building maintenance for the HSBC UK banking network.

All Berlingos are HDi 75 manual L1 625 LX models, with the 21 Dispatch vans HDi 90 manual L2H11200 variants.

Citroen were selected by JLL following an extensive purchase review, with the company keen on the Berlingo’s standard Trafficmaster telematics system.

Karen Ainge, JLL Spokesperson, said: “It is very important to us that our engineers’ vehicles help them deliver their required tasks, the Citroën team understood our requirements and went the extra mile to secure the deal.

“In particular, the Fleet Director real-time communication system has helped us move our engineers away from form filling to using time efficient and fully connected PDA systems.

“Fleet Director made this an easy move for JLL, as it meant we did not have to fit additional hardware into the vehicles.

“What’s more, the engineers are very happy with this move.”

Martin Hamill, Director of Fleet and Used Vehicles at Citroen, added: “We are delighted that JLL chose Citroen to be their partner following a very detailed review of their operational and technological requirements and look forward to seeing the vans going about their business in high streets across the country.”

JLL’s order is being supplied by Citroen dealer Perrys Fleet Direct, Luton.

The vans will be operated on 36month/90,000 mile, fully-maintained contract hire agreement.
