Jeep have revealed their first entry into the small SUV segment, the Renegade.
The all-new vehicle, according to Jeep, will deliver ‘a unique combination of best-in-class off-road capability, open-air freedom and convenience’ when hitting the UK next year.
It will be paired with segment-first nine-speed automatic transmission, a range of fuel-efficient engines and numerous safety and advanced technology offerings.

The Renegade will adopt 4×4 technology from the all-new Cherokee, offering customers Jeep Active Drive and Jeep Active Drive Low.

It will also become the first small SUV to feature a disconnecting rear axle and power take-off unit (PTU).
The vehicle will be kitted out in 17inch all-terrain tyres, boast increased ride height and skid plates, and offer up to 19inches of water fording and 1,500kg of towing capability.
Customers can obtain the Renegade in one of 16 possible powertrain combinations, including four MultiAir petrol engines and two MultiJet II diesel engines.
Nine-speed automatic transmission is available with the 2.0litre MultiJet II diesel or the 2.4litre MultiAir 2 petrol.
Standard technological features will include Uconnect Access, Uconnect touchscreen radio system, Forward Collision Warning-Plus and LaneSense Departure Warning-Plus.
